Group meeting

Hey ya'll

Emile, Charlotte, Harry, Georgia and I just finished our meeting and want to clarify the plan and a few points.

We are 100% doing inclusivity and exclusivity in London nightlife.

1. On Tuesday the 14th of March Emile is doing an open mic where he'll read out politically or emotionally charged songs without music to gage the reaction of the audience. See Emile's blog beforehand.

2. We're going to carry on interviewing bouncers, we're going to continue using the questions made up in the meeting before but use it to spring up an open and deeper discussion with bouncers to get a more realistic, nuanced and interesting response to go off. We can use the interviews to make a video later for the project.

3. On the 25th of March, Jyoti (get well soon!!!) suggested we go to a night called 'inner u' based on everyone being included, and being able to do/wear what they want in a safe nightlife space. If you're free then please buy a ticket! We can try and interview people as well at the night about why they're at 'inner u' what their experiences are of nightlife inclusivity in London. I've also messaged the woman who's involved in running the nights to ask her about notions of inclusivity/exclusivity in London and what made them want to run the night. All pray she responds please xxx

4. Emile also had an idea that we dress up as bouncers somewhere in Goldsmiths, create our own barrier maybe, or just choose an entrance? Then we would question them and use what the bouncers told us in interviews to create the rules of who is or not allowed through. Basically trying to recreate the situation of getting into a nightclub and then go off that to talk to other students about their experiences and record the whole thing. Potentially Wednesday 22nd? What's you guys availability on that? We can change the date if a few of us cant make it.
