interventions

Hi guys

I will be doing the open mic night next Tuesday at 8:00 in Camden. I'm going to be reading either poetry or songs (chat with me in the comments). I want this to be a test of exclusivity and inclusivity that I read without music lyrics- I want to see how people react, whether it is time to go to the bar, or even if I get laughed at. Alternatively people may listen and appreciate the words. So in more depth, we are looking at the impact of message in contrast to it being assisted by music. We are also looking at the nature of the pub which is rock/ska/Camden and how the audience reacts. I will need at least two people to record and question people after but if you can all come would be great.

Furthermore, I'll be interviewing a bouncer with a view to recreate a video interview as blacked out figures to show the occasionally criminal actions of bouncers in terms of exclusivity. I propose to have a chat as a peer and agree to not reveal the identity. This is a profession and we would not want to have information published unethically. There may not be controversy but it would be very interesting for our project to have some.
